Tina Alster, M.D. is a magna cum laude graduate of Duke University and its medical school. She completed her dermatology residency at Yale University and a coveted dermatologic surgery fellowship in Boston. Dr. Alster is a world-renowned lecturer and author on cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery. She is the director of the Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery which she founded in 1990 and is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Georgetown University. was elected to the Board of Directors of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery.
